2nd one on one build*

This guitar… I am not sure if it will be officially serial numbered as a Monkey Guitar. All depends on Scott.

Scott contacted me in regards to doing a build but has a lot on the go. He told me that he’s meant to contact me for a while and has even found one of my business cards somewhere in Kakabeka Falls.

Scott has the tonewoods and some jigs but not all the jigs. That’s why I am not sure if this will be an official build or an official one on one build. I will figure that out soon enough when things get going.

Scott has gone through some of his tonewoods and brought over a set of Ebony for back and sides and some other woods that he is trying to narrow down from. Other tonewoods for the build are still be decided – it sounds like he’s got a lot of wood collected over the years. Beyond the Ebony back and sides set, the only other thing I am positive about is that it will be an Orchestra Model (with cutaway) build.

I am not really sure about his schedule so that’s why I am not sure if this will be a one on one build or if I will be going at it until certain stages and wait for the “okay”. But regardless, I think it will be fun. We did sit down for a lunch meeting and had a good chat about all sorts of guitar related things.
