Hamm-Tone Guitars<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

   Jeremy of Hamm-Tone Guitars taught me how to build acoustic guitars in one of his guitar workshops. There is a lot of information to be taken in and even more if you ask. There’s a lot of little things that you may not think about when going into guitar building and Jeremy was a great in demonstrating the process, answering questions and helping when there were mistakes made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Although Jeremy is in Winnipeg, I suggest you don’t hesitate to check out what he has to offer in courses, services or even a custom guitar or mandolin. His courses have been taken from people around the world! Jeremy has been building for over 25 years and is very fun to be around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One on one classes are now being offered so take advantage of that: it’s 2 weeks instead of the 5 weeks that I went to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tritone Music<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

   Michael Costa – has a Bachelor of Arts in music from Lakehead University. He teaches a lotof instruments from stringed instruments (guitar, bass, ukelele, violin etc), woodwinds  (saxophone, clarinet, flute etc), drums and piano. He has done music composition before and has knowledge in recording\/editing music tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All around fun guy to be around and is a pleasure to watch and hear him play classical guitar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Michael teaches from the ground up: building on basics and working the more advanced stuff as you go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  Phineas Gauge<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Jess Horricks is another customer of Monkey Guitars.  He writes his own music and does recording as well.  He does gig in the Thunder Bay area and you would get into great conversations with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music Workshop<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Sean Jesseau – a music teacher here in Thunder Bay. He used to have a store front but still does have Norman line acoustic guitars and other instruments available. Sean teaches piano, guitar\/bass and drums. Sean also works on drums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharpening Shack<\/a> and Tree and Tractor<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Two businesses ran by one person – Warren Pringle does tree cutting services which include tree pruning, tree removal, stump removal, tractor services and general contracting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also does tool sharpening. So get your wood working tools out for him if you need them to be in their best condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
